TNG Modifications
The following list of modifications are based upon The Genealogy software package called The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding © 2001-2006, created by Darrin Lythgoe, Sandy, Utah. (TNG) For more information on this package, follow the link in the previous line of text.
These mods are based upon Version 5.1.4
- A general guide to including a MediaWiki connection to your TNG site
- Current release is Version 2, this is based upon the use of a separate wiki database
- Version 3, currently being run at 3 sites will be available for download by Mon Jul 24th. It is based upon installing the GenWiki tables into the TNG database (faster, cleaner) It also includes an alternate strategy to link in the Place (Locations) see Strategy 1
- A mod to the personlib.php to create a place link to the google map site
- A mod to add a CAPTCHA to the account registration form
