Canadian Census Image Links
Although the 1901,1911,1906 Census Images are indexed at Automated Genealogy, it is often desirable to download the original scanned image. This can take a little time to locate through ArchiviaNet, and the images are sometimes obscured, cropped, or otherwise mangled via their Sid's viewer. The following links can be of assistance in more quickly locating or downloading the images.
Once you locate a link to the image, hover over it and watch your browser status line for the tell-tale image id, such as
z001/z000048163 (1901 series) or e049/e001207005 (1906 series) or
For those that wish to experiment, the url parameters are as follows:
rgn= is the cropping parameter in percent of image. x-start, y-start, x-end, y-end (0,0,1,1=no cropping)
wid= the maximum number of pixels in the width
hei= the maximum number of pixels in the height
